Now Available for EMS Personnel for the Treatment of Chemical Nerve Agent and Insecticide Poisoning
In keeping with our commitment to develop and manufacture the most efficient and effective products for EMS personnel, we are pleased to introduce DuoDote™, a prefilled auto-injector that delivers atropine and pralidoxime chloride in 1 intramuscular injection.
DuoDote™ was recently approved by the FDA for use by EMS personnel for the treatment of chemical nerve agent and insecticide poisoning and replaces the Mark I™ Kit, which contains 2 separate auto-injectors—1 for atropine, 1 for pralidoxime chloride. DuoDote™ delivers the same medications and has the same safety profile as the Mark I™ Kit, but with only 1 injection.
Atropine and pralidoxime chloride are recognized by clinicians and military professionals worldwide as the definitive treatment for chemical nerve agent poisoning. In the event of a chemical nerve agent attack, there are no contraindications to the use of DuoDote™.
